We’re back with part two of the epic showdown between the German North and South! We were lucky enough to have Aspen (the co-host of the ‘Dating Abroadcast’ podcast) join us once again to continue our discussion of Berlin vs. Bavaria. This week we continue our comparison between two of Germany’s most popular destinations for expats, Berlin and Munich. This time around, we focus on: the different vibes of the cities, beer gardens, the reactions to Americans and the dating scenes. Let’s do this!

This week we’re talking about the new, strange, and sometimes downright cool things that we never had to do until we moved to Germany. One of the beautiful things about living abroad is being constantly surprised by new experiences - sometimes good, sometimes bad. As Americans living in Germany for many years, there is of course plenty we love about our new home. Throughout the run of the podcast, we have spoken at length about what makes Germany so great. However, we’re the first to admit it is not a perfect country (none are). This week we present to you part two in our series about what the USA gets right and indeed does better than Germany.
