Oksana is a Ukrainian-American author and activist who shares her advocacy work through her upcoming narrative non-fiction, "Sunflowers Bend but Rarely Break". Her book uncovers the overlooked historical and traumatic events experienced by her parents, two among 13 million forced laborers in Nazi Germany.

"Sunflowers Bend but Rarely Break" illustrates "the resilience and strength of the Ukrainian people".
