Hyperlinks are those love 'em or hate 'em points usually within a passage that enable you to jump to somewhere else - be it another place, passage, theme or topic.
With the structure of the Bible being such, it's impossible to read a passage of the Bible and not have it linked to something somewhere else. After all, the whole book is about God's rescue plan for humanity.
This week Sammy helps us see the importance of setting these links aside so as to grasp the fullness of the passage we're reading; whilst also the necessity of using these 'hyperlinks' throughout the Bible to gain a fuller picture of who Jesus is.
