2019 Steubenville Retreat in San Diego CA!

I put our Tuesday after the retreat recap at the beginning of the show. We talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly at the retreat while drinking gin.

The rest of the show is our blog through the retreat, we begin on Friday when the bus arrives and we check into our dorms. Later that night we recap the retreat kick-off, the next evening we review Saturday's events, highlights being running out of hosts at morning Mass (yikes!), the terrible men's and dating talks, and the evening talk and adoration that successfully salvaged the day!!

If you listen all the way through you'll hear Neil and I sound progressively more tired with each recap. We are old.

This was originally recorded right after Father's Day. I screwed up on the recording so the sound quality isn't very good, but the conversation quality is great!

Neil and I share some Glenlivet Scotch and we discuss Father's Day, going to Mass with small children, the existence of God and why it matters, we also talk Eucharist and our wives!

Neil and I introduce ourselves over a couple of Black and Blues (Guinness over Blue Moon).

We talk Highland Games, why we started a podcast, VBS, talking to our kids about the faith, our dad's talking to us about the faith, and our hope for the future. Also, I am still learning the editing process so the sound isn't perfect, and you can hear our wives talking in the other room, listen very closely as their conversation was probably better podcasting than ours. smh.
