Scripture: Amos 5, Amos as a shepherd is a type of Christ. Hosea in his marriage to Gomer is a type of Christ who is married to the Church. In Chapter 5 Doxology is inter-mingled. Doxology are words giving glory to God. Hell is terrifying to us. God says "seek Me" which is active repentance and contrition. When passive contrition has been felt we become active in repentance and this is seeking God's mercy. Repentance is a gift!
