Phillip Wilson Interview - 6:46mins.

We discussed his return to work as an AKA and at 28 years of age, he is a great example of what can be done if you have motivation not to let the amputation limit you and your ability to get back to work. He had to go through all the obstacles of getting medically cleared to return to work which can be frustrating for you. But he stayed the focus and on course. 

Body Image: He was encountered with questions from co-workers as most are just curious. And once they hear your story move on with the day-to-day work activities. He settled in and was working normal as possible.

Communication is key with your employer to let them know of any limitation you might have or concerns performing certain functions. But overall he is back at work and I hope to help him get additional resources.

Health insurance can take many forms and the specifics of what an individual policy covers, the cost of premiums, the level of deductibles, and the requirement for co-payments will all vary from policy to policy. If your an amputee you may require the care of a prosthetist, which means you will have many visits for adjustments and sockets replacements. Let's talk about Navigating Health Insurance and Open Enrollment.
