I got the chance to sit down with Rheed from Undercover Statues to chat with him about his single Cowboy Sommelier. I had the honor of recording drums on this track so was super excited how the rest of the song came together.
We talk about him writing songs in the Melbourne City vs New Zealand towns, his mysterious punk rock history and the character of the song.
Please stream the songs and let me know what you think of the episode

This month I got chat with Pet Therapy representatives and band member Ella and Ethan. One of them founded the band and both agree at the lead singer Salvador Peralta would make a great cult leader.
We get into the nitty gritty of writing an EP on a short time limit and share in the excitement about the up coming launch.
So, grab some coffee and clean the house while we chatter away.
xoxo Lia

I got the chance to chat with Tanner Keast about it upcoming single 'Invalidation'. This is his first self titled song, so I was super excited to hear what he had in store.
And he did not disappoint.
The song focuses on the struggle of being heard when you efforts to reach out for help just aren't working. The acoustic version is raw and gives so much to the energy of the song.
'Invalidation' is to be released on the 7th March. Follow the link to pre save the song.
Also follow Tanner Keast on Instagram to see announcements for the single launch and upcoming Melbourne gigs.
Let me know what you think in the comments and thanks for listening

Last month I got to chat with Chloe, Sage and Micheal from Honeymoon Phase about their single 'Old Socks.' A surprisingly catchy song that describes the struggle with addiction and how a temporary high isn't worth the fall.
These 3 best friends found each other through the facebook music grou and have been writing bangers every since.

This month I got to sit down with Rachel, Laura and Sarah from Operation Karma, to chat about their single ‘Monsters.’ The song addresses the topic of violence against women in Victoria and the fear that the world is filled with only monsters. When taking on such a heavy topic in a song, the challenge of advertising the song and how to best represent the band online comes to a head.
The acoustic version of ‘Monsters’ is intermate performance of the song, and provokes many emotions. Its a packed episode of laughter and serious conversations.
Their album ‘Suck it’ is out now.
Thanks for listening
