We all have the ability to make the world a better place. We've all been given the power to be influential and to make a difference. In this series, we'll take a look at people in the Bible who were "fire-starters"- they all used their influence to start a change in the world. As we take a look at how God used them to change the world, we will grow in our ability to start our own fires and make a difference.

After Moses led the Hebrew people out of Egyptian slavery, he sent twelve spies to scout out the "Promised Land" where the people could have the opportunity to build their futures. Ten of the spies only saw obstacles and challenges. Two of them saw an opportunity for a miracle. We can be like one of the ten spies who only focus on the challenges we can see, or we can be like the two who saw what the other's couldn't; they saw through the eyes of faith. They saw their challenges in the light of the promises of God. They saw the glorious unseen.
