What could happen if you had a pastor and a skeptic read through the bible together? Our show this week with Jeremy Jernigan takes us inside their conversation for some interesting insights and revelations. When was the last time you had a conversation with someone who has a totally different belief system than your own? Are you open to listening to their perspective without the pressure of agreeing? Could the dialogue itself be a gift for your own personal journey and growth? www.jeremyjernigan.com

People often ask, “I love wine and I love Jesus, but can they go together?”
There is a remarkable journey from the grape vine to the crushing of grapes to the mixing of various ingredients in the maturation process of wine. It is art, it is beautiful, it is transformational – the process from vine to wine. There was a time when Jesus transformed water into wine during His first miracle at a party.
Wine has played a significant role in many religious and cultural traditions throughout history, including Christianity. Today wine is a social connection from wine tastings to sommeliers. Jeremy Jernigan takes us on a journey into vineyards, wine, new conversations and Jesus. Jesus is still all about transformation . . . with us.

This week on “Counter Culture”, Jonathan Sanborn and Lisa Jernigan dive into the essentials of sustaining a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle with guest, Jessica Pierce. What do you need to live a good life? A roof over your head, food on the table, and financial stability are just a few of the things that come to mind. But, have you ever considered the role that work plays in our daily lives?
We'll be exploring how having a job is foundational to our overall wellbeing. A job provides a sense of purpose, structure, and financial stability. Jessica will share her story and insights on the importance of work in our lives and how it can impact our mental, physical and spiritual health, relationships, and sense of identity. The conversation moves in the direction of advocacy for those who live on the margins, who don’t have the resources and voice to create a thriving lifestyle. How can government, business and faith-based communities come together to create hope?
Practical. Personal. Thought provoking.

How do we see the human side of challenges that plague our communities rather than seeing through systems and politics? We are quick to create solutions, even if they are short term - bandage effect. But, is that enough? Join this conversation with Kelli Donley Williams as we look holistically through the human side to seek long term ways that will transform lives with generational effects.
Why is it so dangerous to make public health political?
What can we all do to make our communities healthier?
Kelli Donley Williams was born and raised in Arizona. She has been an avid reader and writer since childhood, which led to studying journalism in college. After volunteering in west Africa, she returned to school to study public health. She is the author of four novels. Inspiration for her stories comes from working in the developing world in international health and her love of Arizona. Her latest project underway is a retelling of the book of Ruth from the perspective of a foster child. Kelli is married, has several unruly terriers, a garden full of tomato plants, and more books than she can ever read. When she isn't writing, she's knitting. She continues to work in public health. Lisa cuts through Jonathan's trash talking to get him to focus. And with Christmas coming, how can we focus on what really matters? Christians want to keep the focus on Jesus but how best to do that? And what does Jesus want from us if we are to celebrate Him?
