Blondie baker was founded in 2018 whilst on maternity leave. Amy found a gap in the market and devised her first menu containing her original three flavours. Wanting a better work-life balance from spending ten years in restaurants and working late evening and weekends, Blondie Baker was born.

Starting with 10-15 orders per week, the business grew as she expanded into wholesale and pop up shops as well as farms markets Teesside’s love for her sweet treats grew.

Propelled by lockdown, the business has exploded as people stayed at home and indulgenced in her bakes as she has spent the last year adapting to ever-changing restrictions and an ever-growing demand for her delicious Blondies.
