Amy walks us through her diagnosis of endometriosis as a teen and her infertility journey to date. Amy began trying to conceive six months prior to her wedding in September of 2015. Two years go by with no success of conceiving, Amy decides to have laparoscopic surgery to remove stage four endometriosis.
After her surgery, Amy's doctor put her in medically induced menopause for four months. This would allow her body to heal properly without menses. Once the four months were completed, Amy and her husband became pregnant naturally. At 20 weeks(5 months), it was revealed during the anatomy scan that Amy's baby boy had more than one heart condition and other abnormalities. Amy and hubby's baby was born stillborn at 21 weeks gestation. Amy and her husband tried to conceive naturally again for 8 months without success. They then started their IVF journey which lead them to multiple rounds of IVF.
