An adulterer & murderer pardoned

Tonight we consider King David and moments of his life where he sinned against God in committing adultery and murder. David, as with all sinners, deserved the punishment of death but David confessed his sin before God and is forgiven. David was then to lose his child and be separated from him however is assured that -I will go to him, he will not come to me- This is a difficult truth to confront that this world's relationships will all end with death but there will come a time when both body and spirit will be reunited for the believer in heaven. For those who trust and have faith in God, they will find mercy, refuge and forgiveness in Him, both in this life and for eternity.
