When we have a wobble in the wilderness, our faith can sometimes be overcome with fear. In Psalm 64 David learns what it means to wait upon the Lord in faith, seeking vindication & victory over his enemies.

"My sins they are many, His mercy is more!" is a line from a well known hymn and sums up our lives accurately. As we consider these well known verses in Lamentations we see that despite whatever sorrows or sins have touched our lives, we have a steadfast Saviour who loves to save souls. "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." This morning we consider one of the greatest chapters in the Old Testament where we see an incredible story of redemption of a bride by her husband. This serves as a wonderful picture of the greatest redemption purchased by Jesus for those who trust and believer in Him.
