Most of us I think would prefer to buy products that we know come from ethical sources - that the things we consume are not made with slave labour or by people who are not paid a fair wage for their work.

This week, in Auckland the FairField conference brings together people who are trying to ensure that social justice and ethical trade be at the heart of modern commerce and consumption.

Problems with police participation in Queer pride parades are happening in many cities around the world. One of those cities is Toronto. in 2016 Pride Toronto banned police marching in the parades that were held in 2017 and 2018. Next year, Police will be welcomed back for the 2019 parade.
