An Excellent Wife Who Can Find?

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Some people think the ideal Christian woman is mousy and meek. But the truth is quite different. Proverbs 31 says an excellent wife is a woman who has earned the complete trust of her husband. She does him good all her life and makes him a success. She is not afraid of hard work, rising while it is still night to provide food for her family, and her lamp does not go out at night. She has an excellent sense of judgment and may even start a successful business in real estate or in clothing. She is known for her generosity to the poor. She carries herself with dignity and strength, has a good sense of humor, and her speech is filled with wisdom and kindness. No wonder the Bible says that her children rise to their feet and call her blessed, and her husband does too. Truly a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
