Don Wilton has been the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, SC, for over 27 years. He is the founder and president of The Encouraging Word, reaching people in all 50 states and internationally through television, radio, and the Internet. He has authored many books including his latest Saturdays with Billy: My Friendship with Billy Graham.

As Billy Graham’s long time pastor and friend, Don Wilton, shares personal insights, and wisdom gained from his personal times over many years with the legendary Billy Graham.

In his book, Pastor Don shares how his friendship with the man he affectionately called “Brother Billy” influenced his spiritual journey, and how Billy Graham’s words continue to inspire him today.

Almost every Saturday until Billy Graham’s passing in 2018, Pastor Don drove the long road to meet with Billy Graham at his home in Montreat, North Carolina. They spent hours drinking tea, praying together, reading scripture, having a great deal of fun, enjoying meals, and talking about life and faith.

Don and his wife, Karyn, have three grown children who serve the Lord in ministry. And he says, they are the proud "Chief" and "Duckie" for eight grandchildren.
