While investigating some wooly friends in distress, our heroes are ambushed by hungry predators looking for an easy lunch.

Drogan, Clyff and Stewart finally meet the infamous Duke of Autumn, Luthor Went, and are invited back to his estate in Lakemarch to discuss past adventures and future plans.

After their return to the church, Drogan, Stewart and Clyff had a bit of a scare but Clyff played games with the orphans to settle everyone's nerves.

The following day our adventurer's schedule was packed as they agreed to meetings all over town.

Now that Bart is safe and Boldrei’s good name has been restored to construction zones everywhere, the boys are free to chase down leads in their hunt for Samuel Slake.

Their sleuthing takes them first to the Hall of Knowledge, where Stewart's previous questions are answered by the local monks. New leads point them in the direction of The First Floor, a strange shop in the Canalways. But will their poking about draw unwanted attention from a higher power?
