The podcast marks the first time Denise has seen Russ since Denise suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at CARTA on December 3 while wrapping gifts for Firefighter Angel. Russ was the first face she saw after he administered the shock that converted her heart from VFib to normal sinus rhythm.
