The City of Kingman Development Services Department is transitioning to the SmartGov online portal for all building permit applications, plan submittals, and Planning and Zoning applications. The SmartGov portal will be available beginning April 15, 2026, allowing applicants to begin using the system ahead of a required transition. The City of Prescott is providing an update on the Willow Creek Gravity Sewer Project, including the temporary lowering of water levels at Willow Lake to support construction of a new gravity sewer main. The lake level reduction is necessary to allow for safe access and installation of critical infrastructure that will replace the existing force main along Willow Lake Road. Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University has launched a new outreach initiative to strengthen science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education across Yavapai County, Arizona, by training local teachers. The City is rescheduling the Rodeo/Fairgrounds Master Plan Community Meeting #2 and the initial City Council presentation to allow additional time for continued development and review of the draft site plans with the project steering committee and stakeholder groups.
