California native and USC graduate, Dionna Scales has always been passionate about giving people the tools to get from where they are to where they want to be in their careers.  Her experience in recruiting, learning & development, early career program management and diversity & inclusion have made her a valuable asset to companies like NBCUniversal and The Walt Disney Company.  Now Dionna serves as Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging and Learning and Development at BuzzFeed. She’s passionate about helping organizations better reflect the communities they serve and educate their employees on issues surrounding diversity, so that they can create inclusive environments where everyone feels free to be their authentic selves.
