From the Old Man's Podcast "Best of Series". So, "What's wrong with kids these days?". I can answer that question but it will be with more questions. Is there something about the way we raise kids that creates what we think are problems with kids? Are we raising children to be afraid to take risks? I contend that current parenting strategies are creating an entire generation, the "Participation Trophy" generation, adverse to risk taking and addicted to receiving praise. Could it be that is what is wrong with kids these days is actually their parents?
