As we end 2021, let's take a look back at the Marvel Legends we got this year! In the previous two episodes, I discussed the Stilt Man wave, Tri-Sentinel wave, Mr. Hyde wave, Xemnu wave, and the Ursa Major wave. In this episode, let's talk about the Disney+ wave, the Infinity Saga program, and the Age of Apocalypse Colossus wave!

As we end 2021, let's take a look back at the Marvel Legends we got this year! Last episode we discussed the first three waves: the Stilt-Man wave, the House of X wave, and the Shang-Chi wave. In this episode, we talk about the Villains wave and the Ursa Major wave! (I misspoke in the beginning and mentioned talking about the Disney+ wave, but I'll save that for the next episode.)

As we are nearing the end of 2021, let's take a look back at the Marvel Legends we got this year, starting with the first three waves: the Stilt-Man wave, the House of X wave, and the Shang-Chi wave!
There were six Phase 1 films: Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, and The Avengers. You would think Hasbro would have capitalized on the popularity of the Marvel films by putting tons of product out there. Well, they did. Just not 6" scale Marvel Legends. It wasn't until ten years later in the Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years program that we finally got Phase 1 Marvel Legends. So what was Hasbro doing at the time before that? Let's talk about it.

This is part two of my deep dive into the second year of Marvel Legends. Today we're going to talk about the X-Men Legends Box Set, the Urban Legends Box Set, and ML Series 5! Yes, in this episode you'll actually hear me defending the infamous ToyBiz Rogue.
Again, my apologies about the sound quality of this episode, as I had some microphone settings issues that I didn't notice till after recording...

The Marvel Legends line was released by ToyBiz with a bang, forever changing the quality and standards of action figure lines in 2002. Let's take a look at what figures came out the following year. Not just that, let's add a bit of context to what collecting was like back then.
This is part 1 of a two-part series on my deep dive into Marvel Legends in 2003.

There's the word "history" in the name of the podcast, yet surprisingly I haven't done much history-telling on this platform. Today I'm here to change that. Let's go back and take a look at the figures we got in 2002, the inaugural year of the Marvel Legends line! Three waves came out in 2002. Let's talk about the toys and what it was like for toy collectors back then!
