It was great to have Barry Rogers from Derry Donegal Christian Fellowship preach God’s Word to us yesterday (19 February 2012). Barry’s message was about Elijah on Mount Carmel in 1 Kings 18. The situation there was where people were wavering between two opinions, not whole-heartedly for the Lord God. Also, Elijah was an ordinary person who could do great things through a great God. But being used by God like that involves learning to trust God and be faithful in small things first. If we want to see people turn to Jesus, we need to be faithful to God, and faithful in small things, and trust that God can bring many people to him.
