God's plan of salvation isn't all about us. Above all else it is to bring glory to his name. Let's praise God that he delights in being glorified by being so good to us. And let's put him first in all things.

"What does it mean to be a Christian?” It means to know Christ, who is our life. Not merely doing things for God, but by faith God doing things in us.

We ought to love God and love our neighbour as ourselves. To do that, we need Jesus. To see people trust in Christ, we need to pray and preach the gospel. Then, as we live it out, people will glorify God, love one another, and society will be changed.

A confession of faith, or a confessional statement, is an act of worship, putting guardrails around what the church's elders are to hold to, for the good of the church and the glory of God.

Eldership is one of Christ's gifts to the church. We need to select elders with care, and they will care for us. Ultimately our great pastoral care is from Christ himself.

Don't be afraid of AI. We can use it wisely. But the least intelligent human is far more glorious than the most advanced artificial intelligence. Let's use it but not be dominated by it. Let's celebrate our humanity, made in the image of God, and worship him.

There are many ways in which we can harmed spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally. Jesus refers to many thieves who want to kill and destroy. But he is our Good Shepherd who laid down his life for us. Let us stay close to him, listening to his voice and following him.
