Welcome back to the tenth episode of Pop To The Loo with Cass and Sarah. During this episode the girls sit down with a cuppa, reminiscing and reflecting over Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Week, which took place from the 1st-7th of December 2021.
During this episode Cass and Sarah discuss the following:
a mental health and gut health check in, involving negronis, can you believe it?!
the statistics around fatigue and IBD,
the impact IBD can have on sight and overall eye health,
the impact IBD can have on the menstrual cycle,
the price of tampons!!! Cass is still complaining about this…
the impact IBD can have on joint pain,
the impact IBD can have on skin,
the impact IBD can have on bone health,
the importance of having your smears, testicle checks, dental checks, and eye tests carried out (Cass’s reminder!)
Cass and Sarah’s favourite products to support with their IBD symptoms which impact the entire body.
Products discussed in this week's episode can be found on the Pop To The Loo Blog.
Join Cass and Sarah in discussing the aftermath of Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Week. Due to the incredible awareness that the IBD community raised this week regarding the non-gastro symptoms of IBD that are often forgotten about, Cass and Sarah sat down to see whether any of them have impacted them. As always, Cass and Sarah discuss their own personal experiences in a raw, transparent and hilarious manner, emphasising that this is certainly not the podcast for certified medical advice and guidance! Cass and Sarah share their recommendations that have helped them with each symptom, which do not necessarily involve their stomach area.
For anyone who wants to hysterically laugh, not listen to anything politically correct, empathise and relate to two professional women who continue to work far too many hours, study when they have no free time to do so, date all the wrong and right men, love a glass of vino and have so many poo stories that will ensure Cass, in particular, will never date again, make sure you tune in.
