In Episode 26, I was joined by Julio Molina who is currently a middle school teacher in Oakland and a DACA recipient. Julio was born in México and grew up in Sacramento, Ca. We were able to talk about his experience of attending college and surpassing many expectations. Molina also shares his passion for helping others in the same situation as him. He is currently teaching through Zoom due to the pandemic and is going the extra mile to reach out to all of his students. Julio credits a former teacher and his parents for navigating him through his journey.
