The Anaheim Ducks have started to play better improving their power play and forecheck. The Ducks have gone 7-4-3 in their last 14 games and now sit 6 points behind Arizona for the 3rd and likely final playoff spot in the Pacific Division. The Ducks are 2-3-3 vs their Pacific Division opponents. They are going to need to beat their division opponents in regulation to help climb up in the standings.

Yesterday Nate Thompson joined the team after briefly being in San Diego for one game. Shea Theodore was also recalled. The Ducks are getting healthy as Jiri Sekac have been seen skating at practice again.
