I finished this episode last week, the day before someone very dear to me passed away. Since then, I have been filled with grief that I can’t really describe. The intro to this episode is serendipitously all about coping with immense sadness. I can’t really explain how the universe had this foresight of emotions to come, but it did. Because of this, I decided sharing this episode now might be something positive for people. Also, I would spend long hours talking about the nature of reality, the afterlife, and the minutiae of our existence with this person. It feels weird to be sharing anything like this right now, but I feel like he’d want me to. There isn’t protocol for suffering, and there is no proper way to grieve. I’ve been crying, blank, tired, and loved. I’ll be talking about this more in the not too distant future, and exploring some topics that he and I liked to talk about. I have sooooo much more to say about this, and I will. Check on your mental health, and check on the mental health of your loved ones. I love you.

On this episode we explore the life and works of one of the most celebrated horror writers of all time, Edgar Allan Poe!
I do a brief rundown of his life, and then read three of his works, (so heads up, this one is a more audiobook-ish type episode).
The madness seeps through the cracks as we ruminate on the darkest corners of our minds!

I promise, you don’t have to be a comic book fan to understand or enjoy this episode!
On this one, I do a breakdown of the beautifully tragic origins of one of my favorite comic book characters, The Silver Surfer!
As a lifelong comic book fan, I had a blast recounting this tale!
I’ve wanted to bring something from the universe of comic books to the podcast for a little while, and now…. THE TIME HAS COME!
Whether you’re tormented by Thanos, or set free from the shackles of Galactus, this one's for you!

Welcome to the sixteenth episode of Analogue Thoughts! On this episode we do a deep dive into: the culture, deities, customs, and rise and fall of the Ancient Mayans From demon macaws to boofing toad venom, this one is a doozy. Rooooaaarrrrr!!!!!!!
On this episode we travel back in time to the Cretaceous period. A time when giant lizards and birds known as dinosaurs dominated the planet. But what's that?!?! A massive glowing object in the sky… I feel as though things are going to change very quickly.

Is this Real?
Nothing is real.
Everything is real.
If you were in a simulation, how would you feel?
On this episode, we talk about the nature of reality and whether or not we are living inside of a simulation.
Does A.I. play a vital role in this created reality? Are we potentially A.I. entities ourselves, living inside of a dimension made for us, or by us?
Are we the children of an A.I. human love story?
All of this and more!

The Brothers Grimm were expert story collectors and re-tellers. They gathered stories from all across Europe and beyond.
Think of this episode as… Story time! I retell three of their more obscure tales, and talk about their meanings and origins.
Stories and fables are beautiful in the way they connect our cultures and ideologies. They're all about so many different things: love, fear, pride, hope, despair, how to be a good person, why you shouldn't be a bad person.
I hope you enjoy these tales, and learn from the wisdom of the ages!
Thanks for listening, Infinite Love!
