Sprauve, a professor of modern languages, has a Ph.D. in linguistics from Princeton University, He is a folklorist, a storyteller, a previous Virgin Islands senator, a community activist and a fisherman.

Part 2 - Tatianna Watts and Ellie Hirsh joins Neville James for Kidsville: Traditions Across the Globe happening Sunday December 14, 2025, 10am to 4pm at The Children’s Museum of St Croix featuring hands on activities, crafts from global and local cultures, music, storytelling and play.   

Part 1 - Ayana Flewellen, representing the Society of Black Archaeologists, joins Neville James to discuss the “Librarying Through Archiving: Metadata Workshop.” This December 13, 2025 event at CHANT in Frederiksted is led by Dr. Aleia M. Brown in partnership with the Society of Black Archaeologists, the Division of Virgin Islands Cultural Education, CHANT, and CMCArts. The workshop guides participants through community archiving, personal archives, metadata literacy, and online archive development.
