Hr: Ana je bila na svoj prvi put u Dubrovnik.
En: Ana was on her first trip to Dubrovnik.

Hr: Ljeto je, sunce sja jako, a zrak je mirisan po moru.
En: It’s summer, the sun is shining brightly, and the air is fragrant with the sea.

Hr: Na tržnici je bio srednjovjekovni sajam.
En: At the market, there was a medieval fair.

Hr: Ljudi su obučeni u stare odore, a štandovi su puni šarenih proizvoda.
En: People were dressed in old garments, and the stands were full of colorful products.

Hr: Ana je došla s jednim ciljem - prodati svoje ručno izrađene predmete.
En: Ana came with one goal - to sell her handmade items.

Hr: Petar i Marko hodaju uz Anu.
En: Petar and Marko were walking beside Ana.

Hr: Petar joj je dobar prijatelj, a Marko je trgovac kojeg je tek upoznala.
En: Petar is her good friend, and Marko is a trader she has just met.

Hr: "Ana, bit će ti teško", rekao je Marko, promatrajući druge, iskusnije trgovce.
En: "Ana, it will be difficult for you," said Marko, observing the other, more experienced traders.

Hr: Njihovi štandovi su veliki i lijepi.
En: Their stands were large and beautiful.

Hr: Ana nije odgovorila, ali osjećala je pritisak.
En: Ana didn’t reply, but she felt the pressure.

Hr: Konkurencija je bila jaka.
En: The competition was tough.

En: Her small crafts were beautiful, but was that enough?

Hr: Dok je dan odmicao, ljudi su prolazili pored njenog štanda.
En: As the day went on, people passed by her stand.

En: Petar nodded.

Hr: Ana je počela demonstrirati kako izrađuje jedan od svojih predmeta.
En: Ana began to demonstrate how she made one of her items.

Hr: Ruke su joj se brzo kretale, nit po nit, dok je izrađivala predivan narukvicu.
En: Her hands moved quickly, thread by thread, as she crafted a beautiful bracelet.

Hr: Ljudi su se počeli okupljati oko njenog štanda.
En: People began to gather around her stand.

Hr: Radoznalost im je privukla pažnju.
En: Their curiosity drew their attention.

Hr: Uskoro, gomila je bila velika.
En: Soon, the crowd was large.

Hr: Ljudi su gledali očarani.
En: People watched, enchanted.

En: Ana couldn't believe her ears.

Hr: Njen trud se isplatio.
En: Her efforts paid off.

Hr: Prodala je sve svoje predmete jer su ljudi htjeli naučiti ili imati nešto izrađeno pred njima.
En: She sold all her items because people wanted to learn or have something crafted in front of them.

Hr: Na kraju dana, Ana je stajala pored praznog štanda.
En: At the end of the day, Ana stood beside an empty stand.

Hr: Osjećala je ponos.
En: She felt proud.

Hr: Pomislila je na sve ono što je postigla.
En: She thought about all she had achieved.

Hr: Petar i Marko su joj čestitali.
En: Petar and Marko congratulated her.

Hr: Sada, sve je bilo drugačije.
En: Now, everything was different.
