In Episode 8 - Architecture + Music Part II, we discuss the "holy frequency" - the frequency at which some of the holiest places on earth vibrate. These spaces are designed to resonate at about 110 Hz, which means some of the holiest designed spaces on earth are playing an A. We dive into a sample by French artist Sianna of a Beyonce song composed in the Key of A Major. Other music in this episode includes Beethoven, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones.

Take a dive into "Dear Summer" produced by Just Blaze for Memphis Bleek (Philly legend). Specifically, we dive into the beginning, when the producer samples... the outside world. Today we talk about car horns, sirens, bells whistles... everything you hear, but don't always know it. Turns out, we are literate in a sonic vocabulary of audible signals that transcends even our capacity for spoken language. How these sounds interplay with our lived environments has a lot more to do with how we feel than may be initially apparent. Meanwhile, interesting facts emerge regarding Josephine Baker and Coco Chanel's involvement in the war, as Chanel completes her uniform line for Olympia Airlines stewardesses - featuring designs from "ye-ye" pop star Sylvie Vartan and model/actor Anna Karina. 

This trailer sets the stage for Saturday, when Episode 5 will drop, picking up where we left off - Mickey is going to France and Sylvia is managing the jazz nightclub called "Blue Morocco". But first, the fashion of the age must emerge.
