The Summer of Bonhoeffer continues with a look a speech that Bonhoeffer delivered frequently during his time here in the US. Bonhoeffer is appealing to Americans for sympathy towards their German brothers and sisters in the faith. This episode contains honest reflections of how Bonhoeffer's words about relying on our own strength is still true today along with many other takes on social justice and church unity. This episode also brings back the popular Verse of the Day and My Life segments, along with a brand new segment called Culturally Relevant where I discuss something that is going on in the US right now; in this case, a few thoughts on The Secret of Hillsong and Shiny Happy People documentaries.
