What do you say when you know this is goodbye?  In this sermon on the Great Commission, I discuss what Jesus had to say to His disciples one last time before He ascended.  We look at the meaning behind some of the details that we often skip pass in this passage, and I dig deeply into the words of Jesus and how they are for all believers and not just missionaries.

Hosts Joshua Noel, TJ Blackwell, and Christian Ashley all join together in an attempt to answer your question! How would Constantine's presence impact Voldemort's plans? How would Constantine's teaching and presence make a difference in the lives of the students of Hogwarts? And how would the students and faculty of Hogwarts change John Constantine? We answer all these questions and more in this one! Let us know what you think Constantine would be up to at Hogwarts on our website: systematicgeekology.org

We are back with another Round Table discussion! Hosts Joshua Noel and TJ (Tiberius Juan) Blackwell are joined by Rev Justin Coleman, Dr Nathan Gilmour, and Pastor Joe Dea! Building on our discussion on Church buildings last time, we discuss how churches share their buildings, and how they can share their communities and online space as well! How can multiple congregations share one building? How do you know when the overhead of a building is too much for your church? How can churches work in their community together instead of competing for their communities? How do we combat the competitive spirit that creeps up on churches? How can we use our online space to better lift up other ministries? Why is sharing our space together so important? We discuss all this and more in this one! Join in on the conversation in our Facebook group and on our discord server!

Welcome back to another What's New(s) edition of SG! This week, hosts Joshua Noel, Joe Dea, and Christian Ashley discuss James Gunns' plan for the DC multiverse, the Santa Clauses show on Disney plus, Violent Night, and the controversy around purchasing Hogwarts Legacy in light of J. K. Rowling's recent tweets! Should Henry Cavill still be Superman? Should we still be hopeful for the new DCEU? Did The Santa Clauses with Tim Allen stick it's landing? Are we hopeful for season 2 of the santa clauses? Can Christians enjoy satire like Violent Night? Should Christians be watching violent superhero films? Can we support the new Hogwarts videogame, knowing that J. K Rowling will be getting some of the money? Does Rowling have too much "F you money"? Can we detach the artist from the art? We discuss all this and much more in this one! Let us know what you think of any of these on our website: systematicgeekology.org

It is time to celebrate!  It is the My Seminary Life 2022 Holiday Party, featuring The Whole Church and Systematic Geekology's very own Joshua Noel!  He is here to talk about why he thinks they celebrate Christmas in Narnia.  What significance does Christmas play in the story of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe?  Why do Christians now seem to have a problem with Santa but Lewis and Tolkien both used Father Christmas in their literature?  Also, is Father Christmas cooler then Santa Claus?  Also in this episode, I breakdown the year of 2022 by the numbers and spoil some big announcements for 2023!
