Synopsis:  In a world where literacy is outlawed and people are dependant on technology, a fireman who burns books for a living eventually changes his perspective and strives to do something about it.  With Professor Faber having gone his own way, Guy follows his departing advice and flees to Highway #701 that leads to the woods outside the city.  Meanwhile, the fail-safe machine hunting him bears down as the public thirsts ravenously for his blood.
