Keir is the one that encouraged me to make my own podcast and he introduced Garret to me. I have learned so much from these two guys. They have learned some hard lessons and have grown very wise! I normally focus on talking about immigration and being chicana but for this episode I introduce these great guys on my podcast. We talk about what the far future may look like. I have a feeling you will be hearing from them again! Keir is a grammar nazi that says he’s blind yet he drives. Garret is a bear that went to prison and found God.

I had some old emotions resurface recently, not good ones. Things get a little political in the end.

Jamilka is half Ecuadorian and Dominican. She's a very different kind of Latina than me. I wanted to ask my best friend some things. I'm so thankful we have stayed friends through the years. I once walked to Arby's in footie pajamas with Jamilka, for a jamocha shake.

I got to ask my friend Rita some questions on a beautiful summer afternoon outside. She is "morena". On the exterior she is Latina, but she's not Hispanic. She was raised by white parents and loves Ozuna. I always found her so interesting and I wanted to know her perspective on things. Thank you Rita for being my first guest!
