Prayer brings us into a state of acknowledgement, vulnerability, and reliance on God. It is the direct communication between God and his creation.

The nature of Christ’s life and death for us should shape our motivations in the area of charity and compel us to give and serve with the Gospel in mind and not our own self-motivations.

Loving our neighbors is certainly a calling for Christians to follow, however, Jesus continues the establishment of His standard of righteousness by calling us to love not just our neighbors, but our enemies as well.
