Synopsis: Faithfulness rarely looks impressive in the moment. It’s often the unglamorous, accumulated work of showing up again and again, long after it stops feeling significant. In this message we look at the Parable of the Talents to see that faithfulness takes time, refuses to compare itself to others, and is ultimately required of everyone entrusted with something by God. And it all flows from the God who remains faithful to us even when we are faithless.

Synopsis: This week we looked at goodness as a fruit of the Spirit. Biblical goodness begins with the character of God. God is good, and what He does is good. Through the story of the Good Samaritan, we saw that goodness doesn’t simply notice a need or feel compassion; it seeks what is truly good and moves toward people in practical, sometimes costly ways. Because God has moved toward us in Jesus and given us His Spirit, we can look for opportunities even interruptions to actively do good and “go and do likewise.

Synopsis: God’s nature and self description is that He is kind! His kindness is shown most fully through Jesus going to the cross.God’s kindness doesn’t ignore sin—it leads us toward repentance, forgiveness, and freedom. When we receive His kindness, His kindness finds us, changes us, and flows through us to others.

Synopsis: We live in a world engineered to make us impatient and it isn't just changing how long we'll wait for a package, it's changing how we treat the people around us. In this message we look at patience not as gritting your teeth and waiting, but as the "long fuse" of a God who is slow to anger and how the root of most of our impatience is simply a forgetful heart. When we lose sight of how much we've been forgiven, we lose our ability to bear with one another.

Synopsis: We tend to think peace comes when everything finally settles down — when circumstances are going our way, when there's no conflict or tension in our relationships, when life is generally on our side. But true, biblical peace is different. In this message we trace how peace with God is the foundation for all peace, and examine two arenas where peace naturally is produced: peace with others, and the peace of God that guards our hearts even when nothing around us is calm.
