In the second week of our King Jesus Series Pastor Mark examines Ephesians 1:3-6. We learn that it is King Jesus who selects us, from all eternity, to know, serve and love Him. Moreover, in his graciousness, God adopts us as His very own Children and we receive a new inheritance (Spiritual Gifts) that enables us to live a supernatural life--God supplying the tools to war against the enemy. Anchor has started a new 42-week series on Ephesians. This first week Pastor Mark examines the religio-historical context behind the city of Ephesus and the major issues the Apostle Paul, the author, dealt with. Also, a quick look into the first two verses (Ephesians 1:1-2) of Ephesians helps the Christian understand their identity in Christ as a "Saint" and not a "Sinner."

Pastor Mark finishes up this four-week series, on praying like Jesus, with forgiveness. A Christians ability to forgive is at the heart of prayer and is a necessary step in praying and sharing life in a community.

In this weeks series, Pastor Mark continues the study of the Lord's Prayer. Praying for "Our Daily Bread" relieves Christians, regardless of physical needs or circumstance, from the feeling of worry and anxiety. God is faithful and supplies the needs for His people.

Continuing our four part series on prayer, Pastor Mark discusses the Kingdom of God, how it pertains to earth and heaven, and what it really means to pray "Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven."

In the first of a four part series Pastor Mark looks at the topic of prayer. Prayer is the point in which we as Christians get to connect with our Father. By Jesus starting his prayer as "Our Father", he shows believers that prayer is personal, intimate and revolutionary.
