Sometimes it’s hard to deal with the unfairness of the world we live in and it can be quite disheartening to see wasteful people have enough resource to keep wasting, while resourceful people don’t have enough resources to needed to carry out whatever they have been assigned to do. It doesn’t look like a balanced theory and it can be quite frustrating when you think about it. But, the question still remains; will you give up on your purpose before the reward of faithfulness come?

What is the value of your sacrifice to God and to humanity? Does your sacrifice have the ability to push aside the curtain of eternity in order for eternity to step into the affairs of humanity?

Happy Eid al-Adha to the Muslim community all around the world even as you celebrate the obedience of Abraham. But do not forget that the obedience of Abraham is not as important right now as your own obedience to submit to the will of God.

The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. By the power of the untamed tongue, nations have been destroyed, families broken, relationships wrecked beyond repair and also by the power of the tongue that is graced with goodness, life is also established on earth.

If life and death is in the power of the tongue, then we cannot undermine the fact that absolute care is needed concerning the words we speak.

Speak life and life will follow you.

The greatest weapon of war is the sword of truth. And it's not a sword you use to pierce your enemy, but the one you use to pierce your own heart. It is the sword that divides between flesh and spirit, bones and marrow and which reveals the actual truth outside of what you considered truth.

For in a world full of malicious and wicked tendencies, a right heart becomes a golden thing to have. But it begins with piercing our own hearts with the sword of truth.

Towards a better Afrika!

One thing that you must understand is that to be broken is not a bad thing. It is the announcement that finally you are in the hands of the porter and that in a little while you will come out as a perfect golden vessel, in the hand of God, through whom the ointment of worship will be poured on the head of the Lord. So embrace your season of brokenness, for like Mary, it is preparing for you a place in and with God, in which, wherever the gospel of the Kingdom is spoken, your act of sacrifice and worship before God will be spoken of as a memorial to you.

Mary has done her job of anointing the body of the Christ for burial and now He sits at the right hand of God, the Father. But the question now is this, what about you? What is your brokenness producing for you and for God?

Think about it.

We are entering the season of testing on the earth, in which everyone's hearts and love will be tested. It is the season of the seventh seal, the thirty minutes of silence in heaven and the pouring of the coal of fire from the altar before the throne of God on the earth for cleansing, purification, refining of the sons of God and also for the destruction of the works of darkness. (See Revelation 8:1-5).
