THE ANCHORMEN break a tradition
In 48 episodes of Anchomen, anchored in Grace, Bob, Todd and John have not interviewed a woman on this podcast.
The AnchorMEN have exclusively invited and talked with men about the impact that being in and building solid relationships with other men has been.
This week, we decided that we would invite a wife of one of the Anchormen to give us a glimpse of the change that being an Anchormen has made on one of our own.
Kathy and Jim share stories on how they met, church background, and how connecting with other men has made a difference in Jim Cross's walk with Jesus.
A couple years have gone by now and Jim is still amazed at the amount of people that were affected by a hurricane in North Carolina and we hear how that opened Jim's eyes to realize how thankful he is to have all that God has provided for him.
Join us as we bring on our first female guest (Anchorwoman) Kathy Cross.

Gods Will remix
What is God's Will remix? Glad you ask.
This week here in Valparaiso and northwest Indiana, there was major wind damage and power outages all over the area due to the high winds.
Because our "studio" where we record our podcast was without electricity (as was most of the two counties here), we had to put our work on hold for the week and we decided to pull out one of our first Anchormen Podcasts and give you a glimpse of where we began.
We had just went through the loss of one of our fellow Anchormen, Scot Tuft, and as we mourned our loss, we knew that this was God's Will and not ours. We still miss Scott tremendously and this episode reminds me that no matter what STORMS life may put you through, God's Will is what prevails.
We pray that our will be done a lot, and when God's Will does not line up with ours, how do we respond? What is healthy for us emotionally and spiritually?
Let's talk about it today on ANCJORMEN, Anchored In Grace.

Parable of sheep and goats
We opened up our podcast today with a topic in mind but there was a last minute change so John and Todd opened up our Bibles and picked a verse(s) to discuss. Today, Matthew 25:31-33. “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33 and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
As we began to discuss these werses, Charles Wodetski came in and joined us. What great timing and a great addition to this podcast.
Talk about unscripted and unplanned. That's exactly when the Holy Spirit takes over.
Just realized we forgot to pray to start this episode and never closed with our usual prayer. God still worked His Spirit in the podcast and it was great.
Give us your feedback through Spotify if that's where you listen or through our website at Buzzsprout. God bless your week.

The Anchormen continue their conversation in part two with Christian Lemon on the subject of mentoring.
What was the effect that having a mentor on Christian and his family. Christian also talks about life growing up with his mom and two sisters in Valparaiso Indiana.
What are some of the things that Christian values and his goals in his young life.
We explore the relationship Christian had before Christ and his relationship now with Jesus as the center of his life.
He admits as we all do that being a Christ follower is not easy and it takes effort but freedom in Christ has helped Christian become a man.
If you have not listened to part 1 in this two part conversation, I encourage you to go back to episode 44 and put the full story of Christian Lemon together to better understand who Christian Lemon is.
Thank you for listening to the Anchormen anchored by Grace podcast. Please share this with friends.

In today's podcast, Todd, Bob and John welcome in Christian Lemon.
Christian grew up here in Valparaiso Indiana and at the age of 9, he met Todd, who had been volunteering in a lunch buddy program to mentor kids.
Ten years have gone by and Christian has grown up to be a part of Todd's family.
The Anchormen have met and know Christian but we got a chance to sit down and talk with Christian now that he's 18 and let him reflect on what having a mentor has meant to him and how important it is for men to step up and be obedient to the Holy Spirit leading.
Christian talks through some of the trials he has faed and that he continues to face.
Mostly we get to hear how Jesus has played a major part in who Christian has become and who he hopes to become as a Child of God.

Anchormen talk about ANYTHING
We asked Gordon Voit to join us this week and when we did, we asked him what he would like to talk about, his response," I'll talk about anything". So, that's what we talked about.
Well actually, there were a number of things mentioned during our conversation but mostly we discussed what an impact we all have experienced since we started at The Anchormen group and meeting in " The Upper Room".
It's one of those things if you know, you know.
Join us for a candid and honest conversation with Gordon Voit. An English major who loves literature and when he became a Christ follower, reading was Bible was a piece of literature that he started to read. Changed his and so many other lives.

Thie message is part two of continuing conversation we had with Craig Misewicz about how our lives changed when we heard the Grace message.
WHAT has changed?
HOW has it changed?
WHY do you think it changed?
HOW has this change affected your day to day Life?
These are all things we touch on and mostly discuss our opinions on the uptick in athletes and the media not editing them giving God praises.
If you did not get to hear part one of this message, I'd encourage you to check out our website and you can have access to last week's podcast and all previous Anchormen Anchored by Grace Podcasts. Thank you again for listening.

John,Bob,and Todd sit down with Craig Misewicz for a great conversation about how Craig has been blessed just listening and watching our Anchormen bible study group meetings. He tell about how he shares the meetings with his family and loves to listen twice just to take notes and dig deeper into scripture.
Even though Craig is not present every week at group meetings, He has been impacted by the fellowship and teachings about God's grace and even how he has begun to unlearn some of the things he was taught growing up believing, but never taking the time to read scripture and get to know who Jesus is and all that He has done for us.
Many two part episodes summerize in part two what happened in part one but we encourage you to listen to part one right here so you won't miss the important points that Craig makes here in this episode.

Our lives get changed all the time and influenced by so many things but this week, our guest, Ed Ivanio, will tell us a little about how he grew up learning and knowing about God, but since he has began a journey with the Anchormen over a year ago, His life has changed.
How has his view of who God has changed and now Ed understands Who God is and not about Him. What God has done in his life and how this change or "New Identity" has had an impact on his own children and the hundreds that he has influenced on as a local principle at a local Middle school here in Northwest Indiana.

HOLY SPIRIT LEADS YOU WHERE GOD NEEDS YOU
Whether you are feeling led to serve, teach, organize, feed others, donate time, money effort, when you do all these and many many more, you are being obedient to the Holy Spirit leading you.
Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Dan Ball, Todd, John, and Bob and all the Anchormen can all testify as to being obedient. Can you?
We discuss the opportunities that we each have been led to and how we responded.
The 3 opportunities Dan speaks of in this subject are linked in the following paragraph. Looking for an opportunity to reach out to help or know someone need help, use these links for more information on each.
