Many charter companies require a sailing resume or application in order to charter their boats, especially in areas where no formal certification is required. In this episode of the Anchors Aweigh podcast, we'll go over an example of a captain's application that I recently completed for Florida Yacht Charters. We'll also take a look at the first mate application they require as well.

Sometimes you might not have a full week to break away, but still want to make it a sailing trip. In this episode I discuss my process for planning a shorter trip and how I put together an abbreviated itinerary, even if it's to a new destination.
