Wizards (1977) - directed by Ralph Bakshi is an animated post-apocalyptic fantasy movie that examines the war between technology and magic. What kind of family-friendly hijinks are in store for our party? How powerful is propaganda as a military weapon on the battlefield? Can good rise up to fight back against overwhelming evil? What kind of hat does a druid wear? Wh--wait why are there nazi symbols in this movie? Why is Hitler a character in this movie? Why does this movie put so much emphasis and character into the monstrous mutant nazis and then gives next to nothing in detail to the good guys? Oh no, this is a bad time. A real bad time. Thank heavens Mark Hamill shows up in this to save the day. This episode is longer than the movie itself, but you'll get Lord of the Rings jokes and an examination of why post-apocalyptic movies are an inspiring genre.

Evil Bong (2006) - directed by Charles Band and the basis for why Adam wanted to start a podcast originally. The start to a bizarre franchise spanning nine feature films. While this movie is incredibly hard to discuss, we certainly try: what happens when a straight laced nerd moves in with three stoner stereotypes? Is this truly a terrible movie? Is the movie actually even about an Evil Bong, or are there ulterior motives to making this film? Also, if Gingerdead Man died in his movie one year prior, why is he trapped in the bong realm? Wait, what is a bong realm? How is there a sex scene with no sex or nudity? Did the makers of this movie even know what pot is? What kind of vitamins get you out of the bong realm instantly? Mazes and Monsters (1982) - directed by Steven Hilliard Stern, based on the book by Rona Jaffe, which is based on a real world suicide case. Is it true that tabletop RPGs will make you suicidal? Can a made for TV movie be any good? Will the lead of this movie, Tom Hanks, ever go on to do anything else? Why did people freak out so much about tabletop RPGs?
