I'm so glad you landed here, a safe space where shared stories bring healing. I'm Paulina Bucka a former TV news anchor, turned podcaster.
I've been through some stuff, and I like to talk about it. These conversations started when I found myself walking away from news, the first time, and my abusive marriage. This podcast, became my therapy and a community was formed. Now in it's revival, here's what you've missed

Naprapathic medicine is a practice that I first heard of when I took video of the bill signing for the new Naprapathic School here in the Vegas Valley.
I didn’t look much into it, until recently, when I started getting treatments and started unlocking new levels of healing. Dr. Nuzzo is the co-founder of Southwest University of Naprapathic Medicine. The practice is a spin off of Chiropractic medicine, except naprapaths use high velocity force to bring alignment to the body.
If you’re looking for an alternative to pharmaceutical medicine, naprapathy might be your answer. The school is currently looking for students.

Cat Coley and I met at a networking event, she was one of the key speakers who was sharing her story of 'the basement' and her revival.
In speaking with her I knew I had to tell her story.Share her struggles with mental health as she faced punishment for her mistakes, then later during her rebuilding phase.

I met Will Huddler on a story about an officer who was killed in the line of duty responding to a domestic violence incident.
I can't find the exact link to the first story, but I did find the second story we had done together, talking about how often SWAT teams get called out in Las Vegas.
Will used to lead the Las Vegas SWAT Team, he did so during the nations largest mass shooting event October 1, 2017.In a sit down, he and I talk about the impact of One October, the recent UNLV School shooting but also the motivation behind Will's approach to his former job.
He dives deep into his past and his time on the force and sheds light into what it's like recovering from a high stress job.

Vanessa Villanueva and I used to work together. You won't know her, but you have definitely seen her work if you've watched the weekends newscasts, she used to produce our shows.
A news producer writes, edits and finds the news that will be displayed in the newscast, on a good day.
She recently left her job in a leap of faith, or calling as she calls it and has stepped into the unknown. She is just another casualty in the news industry. While, her reasons for leaving are her own, we dive into the status of news and the industry behind the scenes.
In a recent article I read 130 newsrooms in the United States have either closed or merged with other stations in the last year! Your local news, is in shambles and going away quickly!

Join the conversation with Vanessa and Paulina, on how faith has reformed the ways in which they are operating in this new season of life.

Yvette is one of those people who once, you've met her you'll have a hard time forgetting her. She's always got a kind word to say, but will give it to you straight if you're itching for a dose of some reality. Our paths crossed in Louisiana, where she became a great friend. Then, there came a time neither of us knew how to be a good friend to each other, find out how we got back on course.
Mona Shaikh is a woman I have yet to meet in person. But one thing was clear, her personality is bigger than her story! She faced adversity, hate, abuse and stared death in the face. She's managed to take a horrific situation and turn it around, using her microphone as her platform to push back against stereotypes and cultural bounds. She's on a mission to tell her story and show those who've lived as scared children, there is a safe world out there waiting for you.

Starr Hicks-Wilson is someone I met along my meditation journey. At first, all I knew of her was her voice and amazing meditation session I did through InsightTimer. I left a review and little did I know it would spark a friendship and future podcast episode. Her words are powerful, her message is even more poignant given most of us are looking for a little more self love in this new year.
