This week we took a dive into a world where darkness usually prevails and things do go bump in the night, Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy. It's the perfect blend of action, occult/scifi, and comic book dorkiness all in one movie. It's got Ron Perlman going back to his prosthetic face covered roots and Doug Jones showing off his amazing talents, and so much more we could barely stop talking.

The very potent Old Rasputin, our drink of choice for the week may have added to that. It is a Russian imperial stout by North Coast Brewing that would probably even be able to take Rasputin down himself if he were to have a few too many. It's a dark roast-y coffee smell just blends perfectly into the bitter chocolate flavor. Definitely suggest you give it a try, but maybe go a little easier on them than we did.
