God is with us. He will never leave us or forsake us. He is present in our immediate, daily needs - physical, emotional, spiritual - and also in our ultimate need of life that overcomes the grave. May we celebrate during this season that God is with us.

Perfect parenting is a fantasy! So is being the perfect son or daughter! Forget about it. Think progress, not perfection. Kids learn to trust that your parents genuinely want God's best for your life. Parents, focus your efforts on training your children to build their lives around a love for Jesus - in their thoughts, words, deeds and affections - and entrust the final outcome to God.
Marriage is one of God's greatest gifts, but it can also be very challenging. Often the challenges emerge because we fail to pursue God's purpose or follow His design. God's intention for our marriages is that we become a reflection of the relationship between Jesus Christ and the Church. As both husband and wife each fulfill his or her role in marriage, loving and respecting one another, the world has the opportunity to see the love of Jesus lived out before them.
Who, or what, is in control of your life? If our affections are dominated by darkness, we cannot be the light of the world. But if we are continually conquered by the Spirit of God, we will fulfill God's will for our lives - we will shine and others will be drawn to Jesus' light.
We are new in Christ, so let's live new in Christ. Put off our old sinful patterns and put on our new patterns made possible through His transforming power.
Because of what Jesus Christ has done for us, not just individually but also corporately, we are one. That's a fact. Now our task is to learn to live as one! Each of us can help by discovering our unique design from God, and then putting to use all of His gifts for His glory and for the good of others.
2nd service with special guest Bishop Maurice Green: The Church is on display. The world is watching. Heaven is watching. What will we do with this mystery, this treasure of the gospel? Having been reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, will we take up our calling to become reconcilers?

Having been reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, will we take up our calling to become reconcilers? Special guest: Bishop Maurice Green.
Before Christ we were alienated, estranged, separated - separated from God, and separated from other people. But now in Christ we are not only reconciled to God, we can also become reconciled to one another in one new family. As this reconciliation arises, the Church will shine as a beautiful foreshadowing of the Kingdom of God for a broken world, with men and women from every tribe, tongue, people and nation unified in worship and in witness.
