Jesus has a clear strategy for His Church. Like a baseball team, He is the GM and hires the coaches and players for His winning plan. Our challenge is to be coaches who coach without trying to do everything AND players who don't sit in the dugout!THEN we all win!

Paul has been talking about God's plans, God's generous gifts, and the results for us. Now he begins talking about the point of all this - what do we do with all we have? It should lead us to UNITY.We'll look at what unity is, where it comes from (not us!) and how we can maintain it.

Paul prays 2x in Ephesians. In this prayer he asks God to use His mighty power, through the Spirit, to help us...Understand just how big His love is!Paul knows, if we truly comprehend God's love we will be changed people!

God's cosmic plan is moving forward and we're part of it! For us to be effective for God, we need to have the walls that separate us removed. (Ch. 2) But we also have to be united into one body.This week we'll look at why this idea is so important for Paul - and for us!

Jesus calls us to look beyond ourselves and living for ME. He teaches us that it is actually a better way to live.We'll look at this lifestyle - how it worked for Jesus - and how it can work for us today.Then we'll survey the ministries at ACC - and look at all the opportunities to live for others not just self.

If we understand God's plan to seek His lost and rebellious children AND we understand Jesus' death so that we are restored in God's Kingdom...THEN we begin to experience a changed life and it begins IN THE CHURCH. All the walls of our world are gone. We are ONE family, ONE community.

Paul goes into great detail about how God has offered us a way to have our relationship with Him restored. He is "rich in mercy"

We are so fortunate and God has given us so much. We are even a part of His cosmic plan! Yet we're flawed people with weaknesses! How can this work?God gives us power, His power. In this sermon we'll look at Paul's prayer for us to have God's power!

Ephesians was written to a healthy, solid church. Paul wanted them to grow deeper, go further, understand what God was doing. He wanted them to "look behind the curtain" to see God's plan.We're going to do the same thing. We'll learn that we are not just saved. We are part of God's plan!
