A church going woman who lived a life of crime joins the show. We begin by learning what kind of neighborhood she grew up in Brooklyn which leads to being taught how to steal at age 5 by her mother.
Crazy Joe Gallo played dice games in the basement of her house, she finished her education in the 7th grade and has a degree in street smarts. Her brother committed his murder at age 17 and listen to what her mother told him and did! Was this behavior encouraged?
Getting busted in 1992 on a RICO charge is when she realized this life wasn’t the norm and became her downfall when federal agents busted into her home. She was facing 10 years in prison and a contract out on her life. We touch on the glamorization of the mafia!
That night her husband came home with two bodies in the truck. She explains how crazy this was and one time it became personal when a friend she knew was killed. Andrea explains living in this life full of stress and how she used her street smarts when was moved to Pennsylvania to survive.
Meeting Mark Reiter & John Gotti-Was she a trusted advisor for Gotti? Was Andrea the typical mafia wife or not? Is she shocked looking back that she got out of that life, does she miss it and how long did it take her to transition to a new norm?
