Andreas was last seen on July, 16, 2010. He had recently been released from the hospital before his disappearance for schizophrenia. He was agitated and told his family that he was going to cleanse himself in the "river of god". His car, shoes and wallet were later found near the boat ramp at Riverfront Park. At the time of his disappearance the Missouri river was higher than it had been in decades and the subsequent flooding killed dozens of people. Because of the circumstances of his case authorities believe that Andreas is no longer alive. Leavenworth Police Department
