Alan Rough - where do we start.

For younger listeners he’s the light hearted pundit. For older listeners he’s the afro’d keeper of the ill-faited Argentina 78 World Cup campaign and for many he’s just Thistle’s keeper.

Some will have that memory of his brief time in goals for Celtic but did you know it could have been a much longer spell between the Celtic sticks is Jock Stein had got his way and Roughie would have loved that. Roughie wanted to play for Celtic.
