Andy serves on the governing board of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and previously worked as an editor and producer at Christianity Today. His work has appeared in publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Time.

He studied classics at Cornell University and earned an M.Div. from Boston University School of Theology. A classically trained musician, Andy has also led musical worship for congregations of thousands. He and his wife, Catherine, raised two children and live in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.
